Our raw, unrefined shea butter is wildcrafted in the Central Republic of Africa by a fair trade organization that provides a source of income to local communities through programs including supportive, empowering women farmers. This Bassangoa shea butter is unique to West African Shea. It is whipped from cold press shea nuts. The multi-step handmade process takes 2-3 days to complete and results in supremely silky and luscious butter.
